Wheat Weakens into Friday’s Close -
The wheat complex turned from the midday gains, as contracts were lower across most contracts to round out the week. CBT soft red wheat futures were Hogs Round Out the Week with Gains -Lean hog futures posted Friday strength as contracts were up 87 cents to $1.05. October was $1 higher this week. USDA’s national base hog report Cattle Losses Extend to Friday -Live cattle futures were down 97 cents to $1.20 in the front months on Friday, as October was $3.67 lower this week. Cash activity saw sales of Cotton Ends Friday with Weakness -Cotton futures posted weaker trade on Friday, as contracts were down 13 to 30 points. December slipped 51 points this week. The outside markets were Soybeans Push Lower into the Close to Deepen Week’s Losses -Soybean futures posted weakness on Friday, pushing lower into the close, as contracts were down 5 to 6 cents at the final bell. November fell 27 ½ Corn Slip into Friday’s Close -Corn futures slipped lower into the Friday close, failing to hold the midday gains.
